Keepers of God’s House Ministry
is dedicated to maintaining Faith Assembly of God continuing to look pristine by keeping it organized, cleaned and fresh.
Nehemiah: 10:39 “We will not neglect the house of our God”.
Activities and Functions
The roles of a Keeper of God’s house include, but are not limited to:
Check and Refill the seat-backs with information
Walk Through Inspection of the Sanctuary before Worship begins
Cleaning restrooms, Vacuuming
Sweeping Sanctuary, Gym, and Class Rooms
Mopping, Dusting, Garbage removal
Frequency of Service
Detailed cleaning of bathrooms and Sanctuary:
Teams arrange their own times for cleaning during their assigned weeks and are responsible for getting substitutes if they are unable to clean during their scheduled time. Teams of two are on a rotating roster to clean and team members divide the task as they wish.
Workers must be able to lift 10-15lbs. If you are interested and have a per-existing medical concern, a medical waiver will need to be completed or a doctor’s written approval must be presented to the church prior to service.
Eligibility to Serve in Keepers of God’s House
To serve in this ministry, you must be a member of the Faith Assembly of God.
